My ghad, this woman. She has been my champion from day 1. Things were rocky for a significant amount of time; took about a year to the month of me telling her my intent on top surgery & her to come around. But once she did, wow. It goes to show that everyone who said to cut my parents off over that year of turmoil were dead wrong. Parents just need time. Once she was on board, she’s been such an advocate. She has helped me with this much needed surgery so well I don’t know how I would have managed without her. She even came around to performing some of the nastiest aftercare things for me at first. Let me stay for 3 nights and helped me every bit of the way. Has come over & helped me clean. I’m eternally grateful. It means so SO much 🥲 It felt so right & comforting. I’m so lucky.
