This year’s #EssenceFest truly hit different for ya girl. As a #NOLA native, I grew up going to this festival. I’ve worked behind the scenes escorting talent at this festival for YEARS. But this time was different...I was working but finally as a TALENT and INFLUENCER. Now, I still have work to do, and I look forward to the day where I’m leading panels and introducing my faves like @jazminesullivan & @iamluckydaye to the concert stage (🥹). But, this year showed me I was ONE STEP CLOSER to becoming that woman. I’m blossoming, y’all, in real time, and I am just so incredibly proud of myself.
