My name is Angel, i'm an aquarius, i'm a girl from a small town in texas, I have an indigenous mexican background and I love art. What does your art make you feel like? My art makes me feel like I have a voice when it's hard to speak and it makes me feel free. With art i'm able to express my inner self freely, it's like letting out a big long breath after holding it in for so long. At times it's healing. It also helps me feel like I have a purpose, for whatever reason all my life since I was a child i've felt this strong pull towards art and creating things and I dont know a lot of things but I know this is what I was meant to do. Who or what are your inspirations? My inspirations come in all forms of all media, sometimes it's just a crack in the sidewalk. Lately i've been inspired by the works of HR Giger but my main inspirations have always been the women and art from my culture, clowns, dolls and nature like patterns in nature and tree branches. What initially got you into creating looks with makeup? Initially i wasn't that into makeup but I was fascinated by it, especially special effects makeup from the movies and old hollywood actresses in classic glam. I always loved to draw so i started my instagram with the intention of sharing my drawings and paintings but once I realized my face could be my canvas it took off from there.
