Today, August 12th, 2022 we celebrate the legendary life of Stephanie Strawberry 🍓, long-time Lower East Sider, and loving sister of our Girls Club co-founder, Nancy Vega. 💖 Stephanie was a devoted auntie, daughter, friend, and volunteer (showing up week after week at our community food pantry during the darkest times of the Covid era) — and upholds so much strength, love and light in our space. She will be dearly missed. Please join us tonight at the Lower Eastside Girls Club from 5-7pm to celebrate her life, on her birthday, and come together to mourn her loss. At 7pm we will parade to the East River in her honor, as a final send off.❤️
