Book 3 - here we go 🏚⚽️🐐🧡 It’s strange to say (or write) this out loud but whoa, I have just come to the end of (the first draft of) my third book. As in my third book because I am a full time writer now that does this?? For a living?? Anyways, before I spiral straight into another break-down, allow me to jump into what you actually want to hear about: *clears throat* 🤍Book 3 –– let’s call it LOTG for now, although it has no final title yet –– will *NOT* belong to The Spanish Love Deception’s universe. I know, I know. Sad but... 🏕LOTG will be a brand new romance (may I dare say) series –– as I might or might not have unconfirmed plans for secondary characters which you will meet –– that’s set in the US. 🐐LOTG started as a soccer romance (with an extremely far-fetched plot that I refused to see as such until it smacked me in the face) and has slowly morphed into a SMALL TOWN romance at the very heart. 💟 It’s an F/M romance where 💼 SHE is an MLS soccer exec who has messed up (big, big time), and ⚽️ HE is a retired soccer player who has dropped off the face of the Earth for [redacted] reasons. 🏚 There’s a cabin mishap, an impossible task in the shape of a rather tiny soccer team, A WAGER, two stubborn idiots who won’t stop scowling at each other through all the small town shenanigans I put them through, and well, a baby goat. And for now, that’s all I’m going to tell you. LOTG has been confirmed for pub in Fall 2023 –– and as much as I’ve suffered and had more downs than ups, I’ve *loved* writing these two absolutely unbearable grumps that secretly want to rip the clothes off each other but won’t ever––at least not until the 99% mark––admit to it. Gotcha. The 99% was a joke. It’s more like the ... 89% 🌚 Fine, fine. Another joke. Christ. The 75%? Maybe 🙂 Anyhoo.
