NY Cheesecake Honey Butter Toast (recipe below). Thank you @Yasmine for the inspo, this was incredible! 🧈 Ingredients Honey Butter Toast - 2 thick slices brioche bread, crusts removed - 5 tbsp unsalted butter - 3 tbsp dark brown sugar - 2 tbsp honey, divided - 1⁄2 tsp kosher salt Cheesecake whipped cream - 4 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature - 2 tbsp honey - 1⁄2 tsp vanilla bean paste - 1⁄2 tsp lemon zest - 1⁄2 cup heavy whipping cream Blueberry Compote - 3⁄4 cup blueberries - 1⁄4 cup water - 3 tbsp granulated sugar - 1⁄2 tsp lemon zest - 1 tbsp lemon juice Preparation 1. For the compote add 1⁄2 cup blueberries, water, sugar, and lemon zest to a small saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Use a spatula to or back of a spoon to press on blueberries until they burst, continue to simmer until the compote is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. Add remaining blueberries and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice, let cool. 2. For the toast, preheat oven to 375F. Combine butter, sugar, honey, and salt in a bowl and spread the mixture on all sides of the toast with an offset spatula or knife. Place toast on a baking tray lined with parchment and bake for 10 minutes, flip toast, then bake for another 10 minutes until all sides of the toast are golden brown. (Toast will be soft when you first remove it from the oven but will crisp up as it cools.) 3. For the cheesecake whipped cream, whisk together cream cheese, honey, vanilla paste, and lemon zest until smooth. Add heavy cream and whisk to form medium peaks. 4.
