The Route 66 Marathon was my first in five years and the takeaway is more respect and admiration for the marathon. Period. Hard stop. I forgot how humbling the experience can be and Holy hell that was a long time on my feet. (And way too much time spent in a spinning brain that questioned why I’m doing this.) But we can check State 29 / 50 off the list and for that I’m genuinely excited and proud. The laughs and time with these four idiots never gets old. @billheuisler you’re the best spectator in the world. Onward we go.
