I’m pretty private so I’m gonna share this in hopes of helping out someone else! Today makes 2 years breast implant free! The past 2 years I’ve discovered what self love feels like and damn it feels good! After multiple surgeries due to capsular contracture no doctor would listen to me with all the issues I had and they only wanted to replace my breast implants time after time. For a while I listened and had multiple surgeries before becoming educated about how many women just like me with implants were experiencing some of the same symptoms. Years of issues, sometimes crippling, I decided it was time I remove my breast implants. Since explant, I feel amazing.... I really feel so much better! If I could tell my 19 year old self a few things I would tell her none of the things she was worried about actually mattered and to love her body! I don’t regret my decision at all to remove my implants and I’m thankful I followed my intuition! I tend to think of my life as seasons, I’ve learned a great deal from this one and have plenty of scars to prove it!
