LET’S PUT ON SOME CLASSICS AND HAVE A LITTLE DANCE, SHALL WE? I love #secondhandseptember. I am also a reformed ASOS fiend with a shopping problem. I felt so guilty, ashamed and anxious about my constant clothes buying, but I struggled to stop until 2019, when I made a pact with my friend @laurenbravo. We declared it #notnewyear - anything that entered our wardrobe had to be #preloved. It was hard - much harder than I thought it could be - but it changed me. And I realised that if I wanted to make an effort to shop sustainably, second hand is THE most sustainable way to do it. So - fellow ASOS fiends, this month I urge you to put on your classics! Every outfit I’ve posted here is second hand. I still buy and wear loads of ASOS and Zara - just the stuff that’s been in someone else’s wardrobe first.
