I met @itsjoshpaul in LA 20 years ago. I thought he was awesome then and still do! I even ran out and bought a pedal he was playing through so I could try and be just as funky. It sorta worked. 😂 I loved talking with him on the @jimdunlopusa Bass Freqs podcast. Posted @withregram • @jimdunlopusa How do you imagine the life of a professional session musician to be? According to first-call bass player Sean Hurley, it all depends on who you’re working with. One week, you might be working with someone who has all the parts worked out, and you’re just reading and playing along. The next week, you might show up to the studio and be expected to come up with your parts on the fly. Being able to thrive in either situation, and all the experiences in between the two, is key to being at the top of this game. Sean recently sat down to talk with host Josh Paul on the Bass Freq’s Podcast for a highly engaging, informative, and entertaining conversation about this and other topics.
