To make sense of the mundane. To me, flowers are the perfect vessels for this exploration. On one hand, they're as real as it gets. Synthesised from carbon and water, forced from the ground to the light - the base of our food chains and creators of our atmosphere. On the other hand, there's nothing more fantastical than the floral. Shapes and colours and textures TOO incredible to be real.
