The True Blue Weekend continued today with a special brunch celebrating Spelman’s partnership with @Morgan.Stanley. President Helene Gayle joined Morgan Stanley global head of diversity and inclusion Susan Reid and Spelman alumna Alita Wingfield, managing director of legal and compliance at Morgan Stanley, for an afternoon of sisterhood and fellowship. The goal of the Morgan Stanley HBCU Scholars program is to set students up on a path to educational attainment and financial independence by lifting the barrier of higher education costs. The four-year scholarships will cover tuition, as well as room and board in order to fully remove financial hurdles to higher education.
