Congratulations to our friend and colleague Meg Onli (@monastictio) who has been selected to curate the 2024 edition of the Whiney Biennial alongside Chrissie Iles. Meg’s deep experience curating ambitious exhibitions, relationships with contemporary artists, and extensive knowledge of the histories of Black film and video will amplify the 81st edition of the show. Meg served as a curator at ICA from 2016 through 2021 and will return as a guest curator in Spring 2023 for ICA’s presentation of “Carolyn Lazard: Long Take,” co-commissioned by the Institute of Contemporary Art, University of Pennsylvania, the Walker Art Center; and Nottingham Contemporary.
