Closed the Arkansas chapter of this journey and still haven’t fully processed everything this week meant. Fulfilling this dream at 23 surrounded by the most wonderfully talented cast and incredible support system in the audience is something I was so scared to even imagine in case it never came true. I am so lucky. All my thanks goes to Baayork Lee and this amazing team for giving me this gift, it has truly changed my life. The way this role went from terrifying to a part of my every day routine is all thanks to Ms B. She told me you can’t even let the word can’t cross your mind. As soon as you do you’re done. You just have to do it because there’s no other option. And what she says goes!!! This is only the first draft and I can’t wait to come back for more in a month and (if I’m lucky) in the years to come, when I know it will mean even more. . I have to shout out this incredible cast for holding me up throughout this entire process. @hanksantos for yelling at me constantly and being a freaking awesome scene partner. Our AMAZing group of covers who showed up in Arkansas y’all. What they do is the hardest job in this business, do not get it twisted. And of course team Cassie, the incredible group of ladies I share this role with @maggie_mccown @ericajanehughes and @_esteinhardt . True rockstars I admire beyond words. . And my best friends and beautiful fam came all the way to Fayetteville or sent their love from afar to get me through this week which I truly could not have done without them. This was all for them and every teacher and mentor in my life who pushed me to achieve all my biggest, wildest dreams.
