#matrixambassador Had the best day with the stylists at @giovannissalon today! Can I be real for just a second? (I mean, I’m real ALL the seconds, but you know what I mean 😜) I am all about “fun” technique driven classes. I am all about a good Colormelting class, and I’m totally your girl for a Blonding class. BUT! And it’s a rather large BUT - Salon Emotion is SUCH an important class. We dive in to The Who, the What and the Why behind our business. We talk client experience, we talk knowing our worth and we talk social media. If I’m teaching we also talk about healthy boundaries, because I am for all of that! The business aspect of our job can be scary and feel overwhelming but it doesn’t have to be that way. It can be fun and good and you should thrive! You deserve to have a vacation, a sick day (or week), you deserve a mental health day💖 You deserve to love your job AND your clients deserve a stylist who is excited not one who’s burnt out.
