Cuba was so incredible in so many ways and I don’t think I can capture it in words but 3 take-aways: 1. Jesus is our Lord and Savior. Up to this trip I feel like i’ve walked through life with a 99.99% certainty that the God i’m serving is truly the one and only. This trip closed that part of my life. Any ounce of that doubt is gone. Jesus is 100% my Lord and Savior and He is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. He will never forsake you, He will never leave you and He is stronger than any evil in your life! He died on the cross for us and made a way for us to one day to live with Him in Heaven. 2. Cuba is not at all what people say it is like. Going into Cuba I was fully expecting this militant dystopian communist nation. What I found were Cuban people full of Love and Joy. Im truly inspired by their faith and their passion for Jesus. Everyone we came in contact with we were greeted with a smile and not once did I feel unsafe. 3. The people of Cuba have such a hunger for Jesus that is so contagious. They say there is a revival going on and that couldn’t be more true. I just hope and pray that the revival in Cuba could spread to Athens, and that one day we could have the same passion for Christ that they have. The conditions the Cuban people are living in are far from ideal but they continue to be such a light for Jesus. The Holy Spirit is moving in Cuba and I’m so thankful for all the love and prayers going into this trip, because this trip was so spiritually and emotionally moving in my life! DIOS ES PODEROSO! DIOS ES BUENO!
