Sat in a humble moment for a WHILE tonight before posting this... originally imagining I would resort to my blasé humor, but really, I’m just humbled. And so grateful. There aren’t any cool words or jokes I can come up with. Just so many people I want to tell “thank you” to for even entertaining any ideas falling out of my mouth. Anyone who’s trusted me to take their photos for my vision or their own.⁣ ⁣ Everyone picks a path (often while wearing many hats while walking it) and you put in the work to trek through it. Setbacks are inevitable (and probably so, even if you’re born into shortcuts), but what is life without the contrast? All the no’s make the yes so much sweeter. We really can’t do a proper dance without them both.⁣ ⁣ So whatever you’re doing, and whatever you want to do, just keep doing it. This isn’t a Pinterest board of fucking happy quotes, even though I’m starting to sound like it, I know. Just trust yourself. And keep going. What else is better than quitting??⁣ ⁣ On that note... baby’s first @artbasel—LET’S FUCKING GOOOOOO!!!!! I’m speechless. There aren’t enough words for the way these people are truly magic. They took me really right off the streets of being a weird art-loner and told me I fit with them. And better yet, showed me, over and over again. Has it really only been a year-ish??
