This morning I did an interval workout on the treadmill that I clocked in faster last year.
I felt really great doing it.
Strong, even!
I felt accomplished afterward.
The pace quickly became irrelevant when I focused on feel.
Normalize moving for a feeling.
Normalize being OK with change.
Normalize meeting yourself with where you’re at —
instead of wasting energy comparing yourself to an old version of you.
You’ve evolved.
And when we accept that our goals may, too?
It takes work —
but it feels good.
Really, really good 🙂
