Sadness and self-doubt have been a part of my experience ever since I lost my job in 2020, and I feel it’s important to share that here in tandem with this post. This is my first show back since then — and after what feels like climbing mountains and swimming against the current to get here, I am overflowing with joy and pride to get the chance to perform again.
