This organization seeks to break down those barriers by awarding grants, curating exhibitions and screenings, and connecting artists with the decision-makers who can hire them. ◼️ The Stonewall Community Foundation - Led by and for the LGBTQ community to raise money and fund work that makes a difference on the issues that matter in our lives, from education and violence to family acceptance and health. ◼️ Queer Art - A non-profit arts organization serving a diverse and vibrant community of LGBTQ+ artists across generations and disciplines. Queer-Art hosts grants, prizes, and residencies that includes a spectrum of support—monetary and otherwise—for LGBTQ+ artists. ◼️ Diversionary - The country's third-oldest LGBTQIA+ theatre providing live entertainment for the Community of Southern California. Created by and for marginalized people, Diversionary also supports equality movements including Black Lives Matter, Stop Asian Hate, and more.
