This past weekend I had the opportunity to visit our International Chapters in Nassau, Bahamas! During the trip I had the opportunity to meet with University Officials at the University of the Bahamas to discuss funding for NPHC organizations and the Greek Life Structure on campus! On Saturday April 23rd, 2022 we were able to collect women’s hygiene products and clothes for The Bahamas Crisis Centre. The Crisis Centre exists to help women, men and children who are facing domestic violence, abuse or any situation of crisis! During the 2022 Delta Day in The Bahamas we addressed the rise of domestic violence cases in The Bahamas. As Co-Chair of Social Action for the Region I thought that it was very fitting that we give back to an organization who aligned with our social action initiative! Special shout-out to @upsilonzetadst @nassaubahamasalumnae_dst and @gbac.bahamas.dst for welcoming me with such open arms and partnering with me for our Regional Day of Service! ❤️
