Be here now. I’d been meditating on a couch near the house. But lately all this speak of grounding has me thinking how I needed to meditate on the beach, feet buried in the sand. First, I left the phone back at the house. And the watch. I had only trunks and a towel. That alone had me so much more present in this surreal world. I walked few hundred meters up from where I was staying and picked my spot near the cool gate to the pineapple farm. I jumped into the 80° waters, and the walls of whitewash, shining bright orange from the sunset. After practicing my front flips on the swell as the walls of foam rolled in, I grabbed a perfect chunk of jungle drift wood and had a seat. I sat down after as soon as I got out of the ocean and started meditating immediately. As I focused on grounding my root chakra deep into the earth, I instantly felt my heart swell in resonance with Mother Earth. I heard a message from the Angels saying exactly that ‘Do you feel that? That’s your heart growing, as it’s Connecting with the Earth’s energies. I could tell by the distance of the sun off the water when I started, that when I finished meditating it had been about 30-40 minutes. I lost track of time moving thru my chakra’s energy centers, bringing intense energy up from the Earth. I did some yoga stretches to finish out my meditation and ran directly back into the water as the sun sent its last golden rays into the heavens. Euphoria. In that place within, connected to Source Energy, I’m always reminded nothing else matters. Everything we chase is the illusion. We are always working back to Unity. We are the ocean, the mountains, the sand and the jungle.
