Places Iโ€™ve Felt Comfortable Traveling as a Black Woman Honduras ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ณ ~ Everyone was telling me itโ€™s so dangerous but when I went there all I saw were bilingual black people and friendly locals. Everyone thanked us for visiting their country and several locals said they wished more black people would visit . Thailand ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ ~ My favorite country to travel. Iโ€™ve never walked into a room and been met with so many smiles than in Thailand. I always felt like the locals were happy to see me. Maybe they just wanted my money idk ๐Ÿ˜…. Iceland ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ธ ~ One of the worlds safest countries. Locals were friends and believe it or not, I actually met black people who lived there and they loved it! I had some of my most memorable travel experiences there. Including busting my ass a few times ๐Ÿ˜‚. United Kingdom ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง ~ The country Iโ€™ve probably been to the most. They took so much of my money ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ. Iโ€™ve always had a good time there and the Brits love me so I love them back. London in particular just seemed like a place thatโ€™s a big melting pot with people from all over. Mexico ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฝ ~ Do I really need to explain this one? I did move there for a few months this summer and plan to go back. Everyone is always so friendly even though I need to learn some more Spanish ๐Ÿ˜. I see people who look like me all of the time and it makes me feel like Iโ€™m in the right place. Iโ€™d recommend these countries to all of my black travelers and I have had several black travel friends who have traveled to these countries solo with no issues. Have you been to any of these countries? What was your experience?
