SOMETIMES, when you're starting a new adventure, bleary eyed (but more than game for the opportunity), and just a little nervous, you get a reminder of what it's really all about, if you're lucky (which I fully confess, I often am). But it makes you want to do the best work you could ever do in your whole life. How I wish he could have heard about, or seen, this. He passed just a couple of weeks ago and I was understandably sad. #MrHollandsOpustheMusical will have its #WorldPremiere this August at @ogunquitplayhouse, starring @akronwatson, @anastasiabarzee, @veannecox, @timgulan and @chrisorbach, alongside a really special cast of über-talented others. It was co-written by @wilsonburtle and Yours Truly. But I don't have to worry selfishly anymore, about not calling him just that one last time; all that I might crave to combat my most fragile and insecure moments landed like a dove on my #socialmedia tonight, and I know now that he knew.
