🕯️Today is 13 December🕯️ Who is the girl with candles in her hair? Instead of a nativity play in school, small groups of children dressed in white walk in processions with candles in their hands, singing in honor of the Sicilian martyr, Saint Lucia. On December 13, they parade through the halls and corridors of schools, nursing homes and daycare centres all around Denmark to bring light and joy during the darkest month of the year.
