I was very nervous when we decided to take backpacks instead of suitcases on our sabbatical, but it turned out to be a fantastic decision! My women’s Osprey pack held everything I needed while being comfortable and convenient for planes and trains. These photos are from a long weekend at a beautiful military resort in Germany at the foot of the Alps. We rented e-bikes and explored the mountain trails. Don’t worry, I only needed Trevor to push my bike up ONE of the hills...then we figured out how to make the electricity kick in. 😂
