Pioneer Winter Collective (PWC) is a Miami-based, intergenerational, and physically integrated dance-theater company that creates performances in public spaces, at museums and galleries, on stages, in schools, and on film. Rooted in social practice and community, PWC's collaboratively devised work celebrates queerness, humanness, and vulnerability. And, with its #MellonGrant, PWC is piloting a "retainer" payment model to maintain ongoing financial support for its artists.
