Young, Black & Educated 🎓 Today I thank God. Two years later, I finally got my in-person convocation. I completed my BA with two minors in Sociology and Psychology. I spent so many long nights in the Ryerson library studying. I used to spend my GO train ride talking to God asking him to get me through. I used to cry because I was so exhausted balancing school and work. I barely saw my friends because I kept telling myself I needed to focus. Looking back at it, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I learned so much about myself while I was in school. I can do ANYTHING that I put my mind to. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
