merry Christmas from the Rempel’s❤️ Last night we were supposed to be arriving in Canada in time for Christmas with Ernie’s family. After many delays and finally a cancelled flight we’re unexpectedly spending the next 5 days here in Pennsylvania before finally returning to California (after an entire month away). It’s bittersweet to be honest. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed and cried a little. But I am reminded that I am so so lucky to be “stuck” in a place I still call home. That im not stranded in a random city like many people are due to all the cancellations. That I didn’t experience trauma or even loss in that 50 car pile up in Ohio. My heart goes out to all the people that didn’t get to spend Christmas with their families/loved ones. Let’s never forget how blessed we really are. Merry Christmas 🥂❤️
