Daruma Temple 🍁 Katsuo-ji is a Buddhist temple that is known to grant wishes of success. Originally, it was named ‘勝王寺/Katsuō-ji’ which means “the temple that triumphs over the emperor. However, they later replaced 王/king to 尾/tail which has similar ‘o’ sound. People nowadays come to the temple to pray for triumph and some get their own daruma to write their wishes.
