Bundled up in @sezane, with the sound of rain outside 🌧 I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what is important to me here on this little corner of the internet - about what I put out into the world and how it fits into your lives. And the thing I always come back to is - how does what I do here make you feel? I know how I want it to feel, like a cozy and calm corner (with the occasional silliness of course), like we’re both curled up on a couch together chatting and laughing. But it can be hard to translate that into still images or quick videos. I think that’s why I really have enjoyed sharing playlists I’ve created. They’re a chance for my own brand (for lack of a better word) to be a bigger part of your day. I’ve shared my Calm playlist, my Sad Girl Bath Tunes (of course), and now I’m crafting a new one, that I’m calling A Quiet Afternoon. I want it to feel like the sort of songs you put on for yourself when you’re relaxing and you’ve maybe escaped the city or your day to day for a while. There’s dinner being made in the other room, you’ve lit a candle and there’s maybe a storm nearby, and these are the songs you’re tuning into hear. And I wanted to ask you all to please leave any song recommendations you’d like to have added so that this playlist can be more of a collaborative effort. I can’t guarantee they’ll all make it on there but if anything it’ll be a good way to maybe find some new music or old favorites by reading through the comments.
