The older I get, the less I feel the need to perform. The older I get, the less I feel the need to shrink and settle. The older I get, the less I feel the need to beg, plead, or convince. The older I get, the less I feel the need to overextend and over-explain. The older I get the more I realize that I’m not interested in things or relationships that are not emotionally, nourishing, or rooted in authenticity and love.
