A moment I’ll never forget!! 🥹💘 this past weekend I not only got to visit NYC, but I also saw myself on a billboard in Times Square!!! 🍎🚕 My parents came along with us which made the moment that much more special to me. My parents and I immigrated to the states when I was about 3 years old. A chance for a better life. To have an incredible opportunity like *this* and for my parents to see it in person means the world to me. This would have never happened if it didn’t start with their initial sacrifice. This is a milestone I’ll remember forever and I share it with my fellow immigrants, eldest daughters, journal girls, my fellow Filipinas and POC who so rarely see ourselves represented, and to anyone who feels “too old” to go after their dreams. ❤️✨ The biggest, warmest thank you to @linktr.ee!!! 💘🫶🏼 #journalcommunity #journaling
