I'd never seen @brandonborrorchappell as excited as when he found Flaco (who hadn't been seen for a few days) in Central Park last year. Flaco was magic: a zoo escapee who became the city's hooting folk hero. RIP our beautiful owl; we hope that in your year of freedom, you had a lifetime of adventure. 💔
