A quiet, sleepy little town, holding the beginnings of a legend. The house sits tucked away in a calm neighborhood, so small and unassuming. A few years ago it was officially named a historic landmark, and his mom lived there until recently. Standing there felt surreal. To see where it all started. To imagine the kid who grew up here and went on to change music forever. Humble beginnings turning into something that reached millions across decades. Over 30 years later, his name and his impact are still everywhere. I’ve loved Nirvana since I was a kid, so this felt really special. There are even more spots around town dedicated to him, like the park, the air guitar statue and a whole exhibit.
