TRAINING ON HOLIDAY @thetimes Follow my very simple strength and cardio circuit in this weekend’s Times and Times Online. You can adjust it to be 20 or 40 minutes long, you need no kit and you’ll get both the endorphin release you need to feel good, plus the calorie burn you need to not be shy at the buffet breakfast 🍳 I have programmed active recovery between rounds meaning you do not stop moving for the full duration. This also means If you’re a bit fitter you can dial up the intensity by running between rounds rather than walking. Long gone for me are the days where I need a holiday to recover from my holiday (with the exception of the odd stag do 😜) I always train everyday, make time to read/listen to audio books and connect with my family.
