Get ready to meet our most special boy, Cooper! At 12 years old and 65 lbs, this senior lab has the biggest heart and the most gentle spirit. From the moment we met him at his kennel, he won over our hearts with his friendly, laidback and loving personality. As a senior dog in the shelter, Cooper was overlooked and at risk, but thanks to his incredible foster, we were able to rescue him so he can find the retirement home of his dreams! This boy has been the absolute perfect houseguest. He’s been adored by every person, dog and kid he’s met! Cooper has lived in a home with a young child and has been so gentle and sweet with them. He’s a mellow, laidback guy that enjoys living life in the slow lane. He’s happy spending his days sunbathing outside, lounging on a comfy bed and convincing everyone to give him belly rubs. Cooper will be happiest in a forever home with a family that’s looking for a low energy, love bug and that has a fenced-in backyard with easy access for him to enjoy. He’s been so well-behaved in the house and is potty trained too. Given his age, Cooper does have advanced arthritis. He will require pain management for the remainder of his life, which will be supported by Wags and Walks!
