BERRY BASIL SMASH 🍓 ‣ 2 oz Empress 1908 Gin ‣ 1⁄2 oz Aperol ‣ 3⁄4 oz Basil Syrup ‣ 3⁄4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice ‣ 2 Strawberries, chopped ‣ 5-6 Basil Leaves METHOD: Muddle two strawberries, chopped, and Aperol in the bottom of a shaker. Add all ingredients but the gin and shake on ice. Strain into a stemless wine glass with fresh ice, and float Empress 1908 Gin on top. Garnish with a basil leaf.
