STEWARDSHIPS OF THE EARTH 🕊 A couple of years ago I heard @zachbushmd speak and I instantly thought to myself, this man is going to change the world. A few months later, I had the privilege of interviewing him on my podcast and became even more in awe of his message. I became an advocate & supporter of @farmersfootprint and committed myself to dedicating a portion of @thegoldensecrets sales each year to help the cause. (I truly believe this is the most important work of our time) Yesterday I had the pleasure of gathering with him and other thought leaders in a profound communion of love, beauty & hope. Here are some takeaways that I’d like to share: Our connection to the earth and each other is more vital than you’ll ever know. You know I always talk about reconnecting to Mother Earth but I can’t preach this enough. It’s the disconnect from her and each other that causes the most suffering. It’s not so much about the doing as it is the being. It’s a re-alignment towards our true nature. The choices we make every day do make a difference~ the companies we buy from, the farmers we support, the pages we follow, the things we give energy to (pro or anti)...it all matters. The cycle of life is so beautiful whether it’s our own life or a plants life—none of it ever truly dies, it just transforms. We need darkness to see the light. Every event happening is bringing us one step closer to where we need to be. We can’t see a candle in the glare of the sunlight, it needs to get dark to light that flame from within. Have compassion for where people are at. Judgment just creates more division and defeats the change we are trying to make. Listen, have compassion and lead by being. The greatest work we can do for humanity is the work on ourselves. Hug each other and hug long, kiss the ground, hug a tree, breathe in your biome, look far at the sky, bathe in the river, grow a garden, put your hands in the dirt, make a compost, buy local, see the beauty in everything and keep coming back to love🤎 You can watch my interview with @zachbushmd on my YouTube or listen on my podcast.
