A fun fact about me... over the 8 years that I’ve had a public account, other than a couple of pregnant selfies at the beginning, I haven’t posted photos of me alone. In fact, I don’t own many photos of myself at all.⁣ ⁣ Having been married since age 21 and a mother since age 22, my identity has always been entwined with the people I love, and that’s reflected in my photos and everything else I do. I also tend to see photography as something I do for and of other people, not for and of myself.⁣ ⁣ Now looking back at age 52, I wish I had a few more photos of just me over the years. One morning last week I was inspired to set up a tripod for self-portraits, and I went for it. I’ve been wanting to get back to my photography roots for a while, and I have so many ideas I want to bring to life.⁣ ⁣ P.s. Which one should be my new profile picture? Have a great day, friends! 😃💗
