Last weekend’s Lakeside Clean-Up was a great success! Together, a group of eight volunteers removed 10kg of small plastic from the shoreline, totalling nearly 5,000 pieces! 🙌🏽 Bottle caps and cigarette butts were among the most common items collected. These will be recycled into new consumer products - giving this waste a renewed purpose and value. ♻️ @recycleontherock @terracycleca A big shoutout to @jumpingbeancoffee for fuelling us with Fairtrade, organic, ECO2Roast coffee, and to local pizzeria People’s Pizza for delivering a tasty vegetarian lunch!
