In honor of National Hispanic Heritage month we would like to introduce “Cultura” a new mini docu series by film director Edgar Daniel @edgardaniel199x in collaboration with @latina Each episode is accompanied by a Q&A with the subject to share their unique perspectives on what Cultura means to them. The subject of episode 001 is José Hernandez @eseveco , a proud Chicano model based in Los Angeles. José shares his road to self-acceptance and why the phrase “échale ganas” goes a long way. “To me, cultura means a person’s DNA: their hardships, stories, ancestries. Cultura is what gives each person their uniqueness, and at the same time allows for connection with those who share similar upbringings and stories,” shared José.
