I love beer, so I had the idea to see if I could persuade someone to actually brew a collaborative IPA for me, inspired by my favourite song from Singularity, Luminous Beings. @burntmillbrewery were an obvious choice to ask as they have consistently made some of my favourite IPAs over the last few years, plus their can artwork resonates massively with my own album and video artwork. The result is frankly fucking delicious. On the artwork side, they did something no one has done before. Every single one of the 3,200 cans has a different constellation on it, thanks to a generative artwork algorithm invented by Jonny Thaw, inspired by @stevmcn's video for the song. Thank you so much to Burnt Mill founder Charles O'Reilly, to head brewer @sophiederonde and designer Josh Smith @slow_hunch for making this a reality! I have so enjoyed seeing it appear in all my local beer shops, it's a beautiful thing. Part of the proceeds from each can sold go to @RewildingB, who are working tirelessly on their mission to regenerate our lost wildernesses and increase biodiversity.
