Transformation, in my experience, has never come from knowledge. Transformation comes from surrender. After moments of real humility, I always experienced a great flood of new understanding and also new power. Oh, to live in that humility continuously. The blood of Jesus is the truest symbol of humility I can imagine. It is my best cure and the only thing that endures. Sometimes it’s not about theology or having the perfect faith practice. I tend to make it so complicated but once and awhile a simple old hymn can remind me. #nothingbuttheblood
