Weekend things. I don’t know if any other parents ever feel like this but sometimes I look back in the car and see their car seats and think, “Oh my gosh, how am I old enough to be a mom?” This weekend felt like peak parenting, from taking the girls to their first parade to bounce houses and snow cones in the town I grew up in. It was wild to experience it all as a parent this time around. Drew and I just kept exchanging these glances of like, “Wow, we’re really doing the dang thing. They are ours!” Parenting is a trip! The highs are high and the lows are.... trying, but this weekend was one for the books! ✨ Does anyone else have those moments of shock realizing you’re responsible for other humans and you’ve kept them alive? Just me? 😅
