Last month I hosted my second retreat of the year in partnership with @theannnguyen and @theoptimistcollective. Hosting retreats and in person experiences have always been something my heart swoons over. I blame it on my Filipino heritage and our engrained way of hosting gatherings, bringing people together, and wanting to make sure the folks who enter our homes leave more nourished and full in more ways than one. It’s been a full moon cycle since the retreat and I’m still feeling the potency of the practices and the fire it’s left in me as a facilitator and high priestess inviting and iniating women and gender expansive folx on their path to true liberation and s-xual sovereignty. It’s taken me over a month to sit down and create some content around it so enjoy some of the behind the scenes snippets from my POV. ✨Note: Due to the nature of my work we ask our attendees to leave their phones out of the practice room, we ask they pracrice consent when photographing others and sharing their experiences outside of our circle. And since most people still have a lot of fear and shame around “working” on their s-xuality and intimate self expression their own self-study and development is often never publicized. I deeply honor and respect the level of confidentiality of my clients when it comes to sharing my work which is why you may not hear about it publicly unless I share from my perspective. But trust me when I say that this retreat was life changing for many of the women who attended with their fullest devotion to self.
