Loved having our friends Flynn and Amanda up to the farm last weekend. We arrived at the house and immediately lit the oven with some wood from a large oak that fell this winter. We grilled steaks and potatoes and topped both with a chimichurri made of fresh herbs from our garden. Inside we threw together an herby salad and roasted some brocolini and garlic chips — all from our local favorite @finleyfarms. The real star of the show though was a medley of grilled peaches from @froghollowfarm and spring onions (from Finley again) topped with some garden fennel flower.
One of the most rewarding parts of making olive oil is watching our friends and favorite chefs use it. This dinner was a reminder of that 💚
