nougat: •1/3 cup canned coconut milk (solid part from the top!) •1/2 cup peanut butter •3 tbsp maple syrup (more if needed) •1/4 cup of your fave protein powder •1/4 cup oat flour (more as needed. Can sub coconut flour) •1 tsp vanilla + pinch of sea salt caramel: •1/2 cup peanut butter •1/4 cup maple syrup •2 tbsp melted coconut oil •1 tsp vanilla + pinch of sea salt •chopped nuts coating: •1 1/3 cups chocolate chips add all the nougat ingredients together until dough forms. You’ll want the dough to be pretty moist or it’ll be dry to eat, so depending on the brand of protein you use, you may need to add a few extra tbsp of milk. Press into a lined loaf pan. Sprinkle over chopped nuts. Mix together the caramel ingredients. Spread over the base. Pop in the freezer for an hour or so to firm up. Melt the chocolate. Cut the mixture into bars/bites and quickly dip each one, placing it on a lined cookie sheet. Freeze for at least 2 hours.
