I’ve been missing my mom during these long pandemic months, but I’ve been able to spend time with her in the rooms of my home, where I’ve hung several of her artworks. In the first photo, she made the big drawing, titled “Lucas de pelica” (“Kid Gloves”). Also featured in other photos: the moon I gaze at every night from my bed; the whimsical drawing of a snail and ladybug that she made as a child (!); and the poetic envelopes that I keep on my bookshelf.
