We ALL start somewhere!!️ Don’t ever judge a book by it’s cover🙏 You simply don’t know the struggles a person may have had to over come to get the where they are💯 . Girl on the left, 2019, broken, depressed, lost, addicted, feeling defeated (still beautiful 🌟) Girl on the right, August 2021, vulnerable, stronger, graceful, powerful, determined, growing, learning, cautious(still beautiful 🌟) . Today someone said me that “it must be easy for me because I’ve always been in shape, always happy, have time and seems like I have the perfect life.”😂 . #1: The happiness and positivity you see in me took a lot of inner work, forgiveness, healing (I still have ways to go), loving self talk, compassion with myself and COMMITMENT TO CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY AND POSITIVE! Even with that, I still cry; sometimes get very, very sad and lonely; I disconnect, shut down and run away; feel a little lost. But with each setback, I bounce back quicker. THAT my friends, took tons of healing and reflection; took tons of forgiveness and patience. YOU TOO CAN ACHIEVE THIS! You just have to MAKE A DECISION, STICK TO IT, and forgive yourself in order for you to grow. #2. Time - if you only knew that I don’t think there’s enough time in the day for me to do everything I want and need to do. I run around way too much and try to be present for everyone, including myself. Being a single mom and an entrepreneur is far from easy. Not complaining here, but I do make a lot sacrifices to get things done. #3. I’ve never been as “fit” as I am now. After my accident in 2015, my life changed. I went from 100% to 0%. Wife, mom, gym owner, entrepreneur and a 9-5 In corporate America. After exhausting all avenues and living in chronic crippling pain, I decided to get spine surgery in 2016. let’s just say that I was in even worse shape and pain after my surgery. I hit rock bottom - lost absolutely everything; my home, my family, my health, my money, even my faith. I thought my life was over, but little did I know that it was just the beginning for ME. I now see it was GODs way to force me to STOP; redirect my steps for me to finally step into the BIG, BEAUTIFUL, BOLD & POWERFUL shoes he’s designed for me!!️🙏
